Aftercare with welded jewellery is pretty important.

β™‘ Cleaning the chain daily with warm water and mild gentle soap will help keep it looking new. If you can't get into the small areas on the chain or struggle, a soft toothbrush will do the trick. Remember to dry it off after and can use a polishing cloth to make it shiny. You can also use a jewellery cleaner, ideally one that's not full of chemicals - we will be stocking one very soon.

β™‘ Please avoid putting lotions or perfumes directly onto the chain, it can cause chemical reactions like metallic abrasion - this happens when things build up and you don't clean your chain correctly and daily. Basically where a black mark is left on the skin (gold filled can do this) and it's not so much you reacting to the material but more it's reacting to you. If it happens so gently wash the area and chain, and it'll go.

β™‘ Your PH levels can do a lot of things and normally it's to do with your skin, its basically acidic "This acidic layer, known as the acid mantle; protects the skin from environmental damage, bacteria, and irritation". It can cause natural wear/tarnish, so if it happens same again, give the chain daily clean.
